Tiny Dragon: A Snippet
This is a brief scene of a short currently being worked on.
Where are my car keys?
Where'd you put it?
There, on the counter.
I did. I know I did. Faye, it's not funny. Where are my keys?
I don't know. Don't you have a lost and found app?
Searching through her phone, her eyes furrow in frustration.
INT. FAYE'S BEDROOM
Walking into a cluttered room, Lisa's eyes dart across the room.
App says my keys are here. Faye!
I didn't take it.
TING. A faint sound of rustling piques their interest.
What is that?
Looking around curiously, annoyance fills Lisa's face as the sound becomes prominent.
Where is that coming from?
Scanning through her shelf, Faye finds crumbled plaster, leading her behind the bookshelf.
There's a hole in the wall.
Hey, your keys are in here.
Peaking through the hole, Lisa's eyes widen in shock. A small dragon with burnt orange scales coils around its various shiny treasures. A baby shriek surprises Lisa as it protects its prize.
There's a lizard in the wall.
Faye sneaks a peek, adoring the mini dragon as it lets out a small ball of flame.
Aww, it's a dragon.
So, there's just a mythical animal living in our walls. How?
Wait, if dragons are real does that mean trolls are? 'Cause that would seriously explain why I only get one sock back after doing laundry.
Nope. Can't. I'm going to the gym where things make sense.
Lisa leaves a mesmerized Faye with the dragon.
We're not keeping it.
Come on, its a dragon.
